How many times have you walked into an exhibition and wished you had a pen and paper to jot down an interesting exhibit? How many times when you go home from a gallery or museum where you racking your head to remember who was that artist? what was that piece? Where did the inspiration for the art works you just saw come from?
That is where the inspiration for my project came from. Especially when thinking about the ITP End of the Semester Show, where there are so many interesting exhibits and so many other people sharing the same sentiments making for a very cramped and stressing atmosphere. So I decided to utilize a device that all people have on them and in relatively easy reach, their mobile phone.
The idea is to put a QR Code on the title labels of all the exhibits and embed the url of the project in the matrix. So the user can simply open the application and then can take a picture with their phones of the QR Code and can upload that url to their del.iciou.us site. So when they go home at night, or the next day they simply open up their del.iciou.us account and have a list of all the interesting things they viewed the night before. That way they can get any additional information they desire at home. According to the del.iciou.us api the url and the description of the item are required, the other features of the site are optional.

Final-Resourses
The resources I will be using for this project are:
http://code.google.com/p/zxing/wiki/GettingStarted - this is an open source qr code reader. the bulk of my code will be based on this.
http://del.iciou.us/help/api/posts - this is del.iciou.us api for uploading posts to their site.
http://qrcode.kaywa.com - this is an excellent resource for generating qr codes, this site allows you to code text, phone numbers, sms messages and urls. I will be using this site to be generating urls to upload to del.iciou.us

Midterm
For the midterm i worked with Amber Reed in making a blue-tooth multi-player game based on street fighter using J2Me. The original idea for the game is for any user to be able to upload/take a picture of themselves and be able to have it integrated on a torso of a sprite and using that character to battle their friends to the death! We had many technical difficulties such as assigning different controls for each of the players ad the integration with blue-tooth. The bluet-tooth hurdles were both in code, but basically hardware as we could not always connect and start a connection and even when we were prompted, and found eachothers phone we could not establish a connection.
Process
1. Create Wireframes
2. Code single player game with one sprite movement
3 Code bluetooth connectivity
